it was, and the +20 energy isnt really something you can "take advantage of" its not energy managment. if you time a higher cap is a may to cast more exspensive skills you fail at GW.

No, by not using this boost properly I meant that he shouldn't be using adrenaline-based skills when he has such a large pool of energy. I'm not the W specialist but I bet that there are some nice energy-based attacks which can be used over those adren-based ones.

The primary advantage dervs have over wars is that they can spike instantly because energy is there, unlike adrenaline. I think you should go roll a warrior.

Augury of Death consumes 1.75 seconds and doesn't add any extra damage to the mix... Wearying Strike activates like a normal scythe attack that does +19 damage on top of the regular Scythe attack, triggers AoL, and Signet of Malice adds only 1 second to that with its 1/4 cast time.
And I can deep wound every 6 seconds, only 12 for you sorry.

I already have a warrior, and only an insane person would take just adrenaline attacks. Im just saying that bringing things like whirlwind attack or maybe "watch yourself" when your not running wild blow is very effective.

Augury of death is a precast, it dosnt take any time out of your spike. in that extra second you waste on SoMalice someone could remove the deep wound. if you drop deep wound on a target (a normal PvE target) with half health, youshould be able to spike them down in one swing.

Which is why it's advantageous not to weaken yourself when applying a DW - you want to follow that up with a (potentially) killing blow. Weakness undermines your opportunity to do that, and the time you spend removing it could mean you lose your chance...
Plus, with one skill to do the job you get space for another!

I just got Lyssa and it kicks so much ass. At the end of Vizunah Square I got up to the casters and killed them 3 at at time.

Welcome to GW:EN and PvE-only skills. :/ They actually buffed Dervishes quite a lot with them.
Incidentally I have that exact build for quite a few situations I use the AoHM variant though.
